Hi there!

Lots of great advice here but better still is all the encouragement you'll receive.

I'm finding logging everything I eat and drink very useful: it's given me a true picture of my diet and I can quickly see if I am going off-track.

The Monday weigh-ins are very motivational too - hope to see you there! 😊

Your in the right place for support and encourment over 7 weeks ago I was so disgusted with myself and down because of my weight I got up on a Monday morning and said THATS IT! And I haven't looked back .Its tough when you have busy lives specially kids babies it's easier sometimes having rubbish but once you start in a couple of weeks you feeI a lot more positive I feel amazing my eating is so healthy I do think to myself why o why have you not stuck to it before I'm actually enjoying my food and exercising as much as I can this site all the encourgment and motivation is amazing hearing success stories ideas tip soup recipes! Mmmmm All the rubbish I ate before doesn't bother me one little bit now I know I will wobble off my path but when it happens I will get my support from here with me it will be mentally getting my head focused to continue on this journey not short term anymore I'm on it for the long haul good luck with your weight loss

Onwards and Downwards 😄😄😄😄😄

I must admit, the hormonal ups and downs of pregnancy can really mess with your weight, and the lack of sleep and anxiety that comes with a new baby make losing weight tough, but that doesn't mean you can't do it; you just need to plan ahead.

Rope in the in-laws for some baby sitting to give you a little "me time" when you can go for a walk, bike ride, swim ....;or even catch up on some much needed sleep!

Shop wisely and try not to have tempting foods around you. Take the baby for long walks in his/her pram or stroller - helps baby to sleep and helps you to be active. Getting the baby in a regular routine for meals, naps (and your exercise) will help you both.

I often think that nature intends young mothers to have a little spare weight to enable them to feed a new baby, so don't panic about the odd few pounds....these will go in time. I hope your mood is beginning to lift and that you can see some light at the end of the tunnel.
