Age 54 and desperate to be smaller. Ten years of being too big now it is going to be a concentrated effort to sort this out. Quite looking forward to it - one day at a time.

One day at a time is a great way to approach this :) Welcome and good luck!

It seems hard but once you get into it and calorie count it opens up a new food world.. Our problem is home baked cakes and ice cream and cream... So when we started just didn't bake or buy ice cream or cream.. Instead fresh fruit and yoghurt and honey.. Now we don't miss them and if we do have one we just eat one not the whole tray or cartons... Seems the sugar fix thing has gone but took a few weeks but it's worth it ... So all the best and let us know how you get on . Liz
