Hi my name is marsha and just started the 12 week program, my aim is to lose almost 1/2 my body weight in a healthy fashion. My excuses have always been my life style (mum of 3, part time work and bake as a hobby!) I am not consistent in my weight loss and after celebrating my 29th bday a couple of days ago.. I've decided that i am bigger than the excuses I've made and fed up with other people's success stories and must make my own! Again, all the drive but none of the consistancy hence joining here with you beautiful people! I need support and guidence through the journey and would be grateful for you to be our point me in the direction of that person/group.

You've come to just the right place :)

I'd like to invite you to join our Newbie Club, which we hope will be a good place for you to connect with members, who are also just starting out. If you just post a few words to introduce yourself and respond to others there, you'll soon break the ice. Here's the link

Wishing you all the best :)

Hey Marsha. I've just joined. I'm looking

For a drastic shift in my weight too 🙈

I met my partner in 2015, weighing in at a tiny 8 1/2 stone 😒 I was active and happy...currently I have no idea how much I weight (I threw the scales out 🙈) I had a baby last year and had an awful birth (cat 1 c section) I couldn't use my tummy muscles at all until recently 🙌🏼 ..... so I found a new love, baking 😍 but now myself and my partner are both suffering for it! I've done ok with shifting the weight until recently....it's like I can't shift any more off. Hopefully joining here I can achieve my goal 🏆

You've done well to have shifted any (assuming your lil one is still of toddler age!)

It seems as though slow and steady wins the race at this point.

We can do this!

Good luck Lastmountain and ChunkyCharlie, I too have over half my body weight to loose and I've tried every fad diet there is. I've come to the realisation that only health eating and a slow progress will get me there. Fingers crossed you both find a diet that works for you. Good luck!
