Be gentle with yourself and enjoy the journey back to healthy living!

It is fun when you get into it and quite wonderful when you start to see results! Good luck!

Hi and welcomewildcatuk1969 :)

Don't worry, you'll be in good company! :)

Take a look at the Pinned Posts section, to the right of your screen (bottom, if you're using a mobile) and have a look at the Welcome Newbies thread, it has a link to the NHS 12 week plan, which is a guide to healthy living, rather that a specific diet plan.

Consider joining any, or all, of our challenges, as they're fun and motivating.

Join us for the monday group weigh-in. If you follow Zest , you'll be notified when she posts the thread. However, the latest thread can always be found in the events section, to the right of the home page.

Be active on the forum, as that's where we exchange ideas and get our daily dose of motivation and inspiration :)

Wishing you all the very best :)

Hi wildcatuk1969 and a very warm welcome to you. :)

You're in the right place and I hope you are successful. :D

When you lose weight and put it on again it always brings back friends in my experience. 😊

Hi I know how you feel about the chairs mine is more when I go somewhere new..... been on this journey for almost 2 weeks & my main tip at the moment is get then little scales out I was shocked at what I thought was a portion especially meat.... & drink plenty of water.... may thing is enjoy it 😃😃

Sometimes it's not gentle that we need, but a kick up the backside to make us change our food habits. So often I hear or read of people who finally shift the weight because of an event such as breaking that chair, or seeing a video of ourselves or someone asking when the baby is due

Sounds like you got that kick just by thinking about breaking a chair. Make your food plan and any time you get the urge to eat anything extra, even if it is an apple or "just a bite" think of that chair.
