As a failed loser with weight watchers I thought I would try a new community for support and inspiration. WW is great but the meetings were not always convenient and I was bored counting points. So any advice and support from all of you successful members is gratefully received.
Best wishes

Welcome to the Weight Loss NHS forum. Hopefully we can offer you some support and inspiration - I would recommend reading the Welcome Newbie post as a good starting point, as it illustrates many of the things that followers like about this community. If you look at the right-hand-side of the homepage you'll see our Pinned posts section, and the Welcome Newbie post is the first of those. There are also some great Challenges going on in the forum - so join in anything you like the look of.
Below the Pinned posts is the Events section, where you'll find the latest thread for the Monday group weigh-ins. So have a look at that to see if you might like to join us for those weigh-ins - it's a group where about 120 to 130 people weigh-in each week, and it's very supportive!
You'll see some inspirational weight loss stories in the Welcome Newbie post too, and many of us follow the NHS 12 week plan, which I'd recommend. I was obese (18 stone 8 pounds) at the start of my own weight loss journey, and I'm in the healthy BMI range now, and just trying to lose my remaining few pounds to my ultimate goal weight.
Wishing you success with your weight loss journey, and hope to see you around and about in the forum.
Yes, if you go to this link, you can put your weigh-in down - today if you want to, and I'll count you as a Newbie for this week - then you just wait for the new thread to be posted on Monday - it is posted at about 6.30am and is there all day and through the evening too - so you can basically post your weigh-in at any time in the day that suits you. But if you want to start now - just post today - and when I get back from work later this evening I'll acknowledge your posting - or another Fab 5'er might spot you and respond before I do - and you'll be included!
