Hi
If you really want to loose weight then that is the first part done, now it's the next part that is the hard part, actually changing your eating habits and what you eat and sticking to it. The NHS 12 week plan is really good to follow as you are not depriving yourself of any foods but (in my case) eating more veg and fruit and less sugar and fatty foods.
I had tried various diets previously, but only half hearted so guess what? Yep didn't last gave up and didn't loose hardly anything.
This time I am determined to loose the weight I have put on when I stopped smoking 4 months ago as well as a fair bit more - I still can't believe I am now a non smoker and I am now putting that determination into my eating to loose weight
Wishing you all the success in your weight loss - Go on you can do this!!!
I am nearly at the end of my first week, can't wait to get on those scales to see the figures, just hoping I have been good enough to see a loss
Hiya, I don't know how many times I have started again but it just shows that you are not willing to give up and that's a positive. I'm going to take 1 day at a time and take it from there. Xx
This forum is great for support, everyone is so positive and have plenty of suggestions to keep you motivated and on track.
I am sure a lot of us are on our umpteenth attempt at permanent weight loss, so you are not alone.
I find that I get bored with the same old healthy recipes, but there are some great ones on this site (somewhere), so check them out too.
Good luck in your weight loss journey!
