C25k week 5 run 2
I completed my second run this morning and decided to do it on the undulating terrain of my home turf. It was tough, but I managed to do it in exactly the same time as monday's levelish run! I'm really pleased!
I can't believe that just 5 short weeks ago, I really struggled with those 60 second runs and avoided doing them on any uphill bits!
Thanks so much Gareth and all, I couldn't have done this without your support and encouragement
Good luck everyone with your runs. Remember, if you believe you can do it, then you will do it
It is amazing isn't it! Sounds like you are doing so well . How good are we
Hi Mollydex,
We're doing really well - here's to a great week ahead.

Hi Moreless,
Well done for completing your second run this morning, that's really great!
Hope you have a great day today, and here's to a really good week with enjoyable runs for us all. I'm hoping to do my second run later today!
We can do this!

Here's to a great Week 5 Run 2. I'm hoping to do mine later today. Great that moreless has already done hers - she's out at the crack of dawn!
Wishing everyone a great week.

Hi everyone,
I have completed my second run of the week today. I went to the gym, I ran 5kms on the treadmill - it took me 31 minutes and 37 seconds. I then decided that as I was feeling really good, I would continue!!! I ended up doing 8kms and it took me 49 minutes and 35 seconds. I then finished off with a cool down walk for the remaining 0.5kms. So I did 8.5kms in total, and the incline was on 2 (by mistake actually - I meant to set it at 1 - not sure how I did that!).
I really felt good though - like my endorphins were racing. But afterwards I was an extremely bright and deep shade of beetroot and I did feel slightly nauseous! But thankfully that didn't last too long...!
Wishing everyone success with their runs. I'm hoping to do my 3rd run on the weekend.
Lowcal
Woohoo Lowcal, what a star! I'm going to have to go some to catch up with you!
I couldn't be happier for you, by next week, we'll be hearing all about how you're about to run a marathon!
I hope your third run is equally as successful
Thanks Moreless. I wish you a great 3rd run too - we're really getting into this running melarkey aren't we!
We certainly are Lowcal!
I hope to do mine tomorrow, weather permitting
