Hello and welcome ! Not much of a recipe, but yesterday I had for dinner 2 hard-boiled eggs, 1 tin of tuna, 2 small tomatoes, and 30 grams of full fat cheddar cheese, cut in cubes/pieces and all mixed up. Washed down with water, and a small banana for dessert.

I've been too lazy to cook lately, can't be bothered. Today on the way home from my jog, I just grabbed a ready salad box with olives from Aldi for lunch, and threw in some ready-cooked beans from a glass jar and other healthy stuff. Hubby has promised to cook beef stew for tonight, so it will be very nice to have a hot meal in the evening.

Hi whit.

How about rice? Just to have something to fill you up... ;)

But apart from that, I had a steak the other night, cooked medium rare in a hot pan without any fat served with some steamed veg and homemade garlic "butter" (it wasn't butter but a spreadable alternative to save on calories...).

You could make a chilli, you can keep that healthy by sticking to lower fat % beef and frying things without oil where possible.

I also enjoy fish. I like mine "Asian" style, for example packing a piece of salmon into tin foil along with some ginger, chilli, garlic, pak choi and lemon grass, steam in the oven for 10-15 minutes and then serve with noodles - or whatever else you may enjoy. ;)

I'm sure you'll find some pasta free meals you can enjoy. :)

Are you following the NHS 12 week plan? You can eat whatever you like so long as you stay within your calorie range.

I'm a veggie so probably not much help on the recipe front! BBC good food has some low cal recipes though if you enjoy cooking, and they're not too complicated: bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/col...

best of luck!
