Just weighed myself at the end of week two & I have gained the 2lb I lost last week - so annoyed with myself. I really, really want to lose weight so why can't I just stick to plan and say 'no' to all the chocolate cravings??

Fed up!

Don't be fed up I'm on week three today and lost 1/2 lb week 2 don't dispair your body is adjusting you might loose 4lb next week when your body knows you mean business. Don't give up.....

Hi Jlscnhirh,
It's tough when you first start trying to change things - but stick with it, and you'll see continued success. You've effectively lost 2 pounds over 2 weeks, which means that you've lost an average of 1 pound per week, that is excellent!
I know you're weighing here - but if you like the idea of group support, there is the Monday group weigh-in going on today, and you'd be very welcome to join us if you fancied some group support.
If you look at the 'Events' section of the homepage (right-hand-side) you can see the link to today's current weigh-in thread.
No problem if you're happier to post your individual weigh-in post, but I just thought I'd let you know about the group weigh-in sessions, incase you wanted to join in.

Hello! This has also happened to me this week! I was chuffed to get to below 10st on Friday, only to be back over today! I did have a boozy week end with crisps, but never mind. Back on the wagon today. Blips will happen, it's carrying on that is the main thing!
So you're as miffed as I am then. Just to share the misery, a very similar thing has happened to me. I had stuck to my plan exactly, weighed and measured everything, didn't eat anything without checking the kcal first to make sure I could fit it in. Done that for 4 weeks. Results: Week 1 lost lb, week 2 lost half, week 3 lost lb, week 4 gained a lb. None of it makes scientific sense. But this week I have remembered to wear my pedometer and have had a few walks and extra stair climbing. Had a couple of pints of plain water a day instead of some of my usual pots of coffee. I have also cut back on my fruit. Only had 1 helping a day or none, instead of my usual 3 - 6 helpings. Don't know what will happen when I weigh Thursday. But just giving it my best has helped me do better than I would have done with foodie visitors in the house. Being a bit of a Pollyanna, but I think I have done better than I would have done if I had lost and taken the breaks off. Fingers crossed for both of us if we can keep going till our weigh in and, hopefully, a loss. Venus
