Is it hormonal? I get bloating, due to the hormones upsetting the bile, therefore causing digestive issues, the Vogel site explains it all!

I get a few days and then things return to normal.

Or is it you are eating too much, find out, which it is, good luck!

It's possible that you are becoming insulin resistant, unfortunately it's not uncommon as we age. Have a Google.

Perhaps try swapping to high fibre carbs, if you haven't already, and make sure not to eat too many.

Sadly for us, our Basic Metabolic Rate ( BMR) slows right down with age.

Between age 48-60 I slowly gained 2 stone... even though I thought I was eating the same way as always. Since then, I have managed to lose that excess weight, by planning and logging what I ate/drank and counting the calories. ( like many successful slimmers, I used myfitnesspal.app) and I also started to walk more.

It was a slow but steady process and took me a year to lose 30lbs. I now have a BMI of 23 and have maintained it for six months, give or take a 1-3lb fluctuation, which is normal.

Believe me, giving all my size 16s to charity and buying new size 12 has made me feel ten years younger, honestly! AND YOU WILL TOO 😊

It's a sad fact that it's harder to lose weight as we get older :( Good luck.

Try getting thyroid checked. If underactive it would account for your inability to shift the weight
