Hi everyone, today I had a good feeling and so weighed in and have lost 3 lbs this week bringing my total weight lost to 58 lbs. I am so pleased and so proud of that number.
This week I have remained positive and focused and it has paid off. I have lost another inch off my hips and last week I lost 2 inches of my waist so I am making good progress I am now 182 lbs and almost in the 170's which gives me that motivation to work harder to get into this weight bracket and out of the 180's.
I am doing this and there's no looking back now. I have bagged more clothes for charity and I am happy to see them baggy flair tops and baggy trousers gone. I now have some really nice outfits hung up in my wardrobe I have quite a collection of new shoes to go with my new outfits, things I wouldn't have dreamed of wearing before, but losing all this weight has really given me a new lease on life.
I am chasing 2 lbs this coming week and I believe it is possible so here goes...
Have a wonderful week everyone and good luck

Congrats on losing 3lb, that's really impressive! I will be clearing out old clothes soon too. Its a good way of saying you definitely won't need that stuff again, out with old, in with the new
Thank you Ruth_canal_runner it is definitely a way of celebrating and saying good buy to the old me. I have a new identity now. I'm young and modern now and I like that. Out with the old and in with the new exactly, well said
fantastic hun, well done! you can never have too many shoes, and what an amazing feeling buying new clothes to go with them. As has already been said, the next 2lbs don't stand a chance against your focus x
Thank you fussybird, it's been a great week and I have stayed focused and remained positive. I have reached the end of my stone and ready to break through it, so not only do I want to get into the 170's I also want to get into the 12's so I have a lot to focus on this week and am well motivated to get one or the other. Wish me luck and have a great week ahead
yay, go girl!! I had 56lbs to lose, 4lbs done. It was 6 but took my eye off the ball this week, feel yukky for it too. Your achievement is what I am working towards, I'm 3 weeks in. another 24 weeks and it's Christmas, it would be amazing to be at my target by then. One day at a time though. Wishing you lots of luck and positive vibes for the coming week xx
Thank you for you positive post and well done to you losing 4 lbs this week super cool...Your goal of 56 lbs is within reaching distance and like you say take it one day at a time. I have a day off once a week to enjoy anything I would like such as crisp wine take out etc and this works for me, the rest of the week I concentrate on a good balanced diet, portion control and exercise. It sounds like you can definitely reach your goal in 24 weeks and all the changes you make now will become easier and routine in no time at all.
I wish you the very best on your journey to hun and positive vibes right back.
Congratulations Trafford1 on your loss this week and being close to another target. š
Your next ones to aim for after that on my reckoning are 4.7st lost, reaching 80kg (176lb) and then 12.7st (175lb). I don't now about you but I love any excuse for a celebration and a reason for a treat, maybe more new shoes or clothes. lol.
Thank you Ros1, I do love to celebrate. I will wait for pay day and maybe buy some more new shoes, but I do have quite a lot now. I am going to be off work for six whole weeks (term time) in just over a weeks time so have plenty of time to concentrate on just me and maybe even reach the target of 12.7 st even sooner...who knows what will happen. More new clothes will be on the horizon as I don't think these are gonna fit for much longer the way things are going. I did buy the next trouser size down in anticipation as I am confident and that next size down is on my adjenda.
Thank you for all of your support and here to us having a great week ahead
Trafford1, alias Success Story! You have achieved so much and to still manage such a big weekly loss is impressive. I can hear in your post just how much this means to you, your confidence is soaring. With the summer stretched out in front of you and 6 weeks to recharge the batteries who knows how much more you will achieve. Well done and enjoy your new wardrobe.
Hi Jenever, thank you hun I am so impressed with the 3 lb loss this week after maintaining last week, so this has made up for it. I am looking forward to recharging and enjoying the summer hols away from work.
I did just try on my new trousers in that next size down and they fit me I have a little bit of work to do on my waist line to feel really comfortable, but other than that they go on, so big smiley
Thank you for your continued support Jenever and have a lovely week
Thank you Carol-D, it really does pay off to stay positive the whole way through this journey. I have found this forum such an inspiration and a great motivator. I wish you so many successes on your journey and have a great week ahead
Hi Dodi and thank you. I will be keeping this up as I have found something in me that was always there but needed me to tap into it. I once was lost but now I'm found Thank you for your encouragement
