It has been a long and tiring week and I have had a few naps after work because I just couldn't keep my eyes open and I've not exercised quite as much as I would on a normal day. However the calories have been on point this week and I have managed to lose 1 lb which is great because that has taken me into the 11's hello 11's and goodbye 12's also I have lost quite a few inches all over, I've lost 1/2 inch on both bingo wings ( super cool ) 1" on stomach "2 on waist line 1/2 inch on hips 1 & 1/2 inch on thigh and 1" on chest, flipping eck I'm well chuffed to bits. I can see in my clothes that I've been going down, but today it's been confirmed so I am happy with everything.
Loads of comments/compliments have been pasted this week and I must be the talk of the street and have even been asked for tips on how to get the weight off which is nice. Hear the joke of the week... one mum in the playground at school asked me if i've been ill cause I've lost a lot of weight LOL I told her no and that " a change gonna come", by " Sam Cooke" teehee she laughed.
Yesterday I ran over 7k for the first time in my life 4.73 miles to be exact and I'm well pleased with this achievement. I went into work yesterday casually dressed and beaming I told them what I had done and they were well impressed. So I've gone from 5k to 6k and now passed the 7k marker so it's time to start looking at building on this and working toward a 10k. This will be my new mission to complete a 10k run by the new yr.
Hope that you all have had a great week, best of luck to everyone on your journey

Wow, Congratulations!!! You've lost another pound, and you've entered the 11's - that's really great! Those transitions are such achievements. Also, really well done for achieving the 7km run - that must have felt good! All those inches lost from your measurements too - fantastic.
Hope you have a lovely weekend, and another great week ahead.
Finally I made it into the 11's and I am so pleased, I didn't know if I was going to make it this week simply because I haven't exercised as much, but I have managed to break another milestone and ran over 7k and that's quite an achievement for me. I have felt different all week in my clothes so I just knew something must have changed with my measurements. Trousers are becoming loser again and new clothes haven't been lasting that long on me. Already I have to bag up some more clothes for the charity shop.
Hope you have a really lovely weekend as well Lowcal and good luck for Monday I will be looking out for your post
Hi Trafford, F A N T A S T I C !! How wonderful ...I'm bookmarking this page to remind me that it's all possible when things start to get tricky. Looking forward to reading the progress made towards the ten k....go Trafford!
Hi Portlandprincess, thank you hun. Yeah things did get tricky this week with the tiredness setting in, but I listened to my body and got in some well needed rest, but back to the grind today and for the rest of the week. Going to Blackpool with my mum and the kids this afternoon so who knows what's on the adjenda food wise so that's why I'm going to burn lot's of calories before hand starting this morning. Going for a walk to the shops then onto a run before we head out. Hoping for 500 cals before this afternoon then burn some more walking around Blackpool so that should balance me out for the day.
Hope you enjoy your weekend hun and have a great week

7K! Okay I can't keep up with that! You're totally on your way to 10k, half marathons, the lot now. Also amazing you've made it into the 11s. Only 1lb lost but a very important lb. You must be so fit and glowing, I'm absolutely in awe, and really really pleased for you. Have a great day out in Blackpool. I'm also out and about today on my bike for Open House Weekend. (Is it only in London? Not sure...) I'll be doing my exercises before I go out, and thinking of your sheer determination
Hi Ruth, thank you. Decided to just run and keep going till I could feel it on the hips then stopped really chuffed to bits that I have achieved this on an all important week. Another pound off this week is great and get's me into the elevens, brill Hope you have a great time for Open House Weekend on your bike. I looked up bike clubs in my local area but none as yet so will keep on the trail and see how things go this coming week.
Thank you for your continued support and always giving me a boost on my journey hun

Hey - well done Trafford for getting into those 11's And lovely to hear that you are getting lots of compliments as well - you must be feeling great ! Keep going with that running - sounds like that 10k is just round the corner for you !
Hi lucca10, thank you I am feeling great and definitely going to keep up with the running, the more I run the further I can go so I'm looking forward to being able to reach the 10k marker with excitement
Hi Trafford1,
Congrats on another fantastic and inspiring week, sounds like ' the change has come ' lol 😃 the inch loss fantastic as well. Take all the compliments you can get honeybun well deserved 💋
Impressed with your 10k challenge, I can only run for a bus !!! There's something about running puts me off I have the couch to 5 k on my iPod have listened to it just put off doing I think I'm too old lol.
I'm off to buy my quinoa so will let you know how I get on,
I will take every single one of those compliments and use them to keep me motivated as they ain't seen nothing yet LOL
I'm planning on being skinny mi diddy by new year and looking forward to it. Running gets easier the more you do it even if it is just running for the bus with your fitness levels increasing I'm sure that isn't much of a chore any more. I was the worlds worst runner when I started this journey and all the weight didn't help, but now it's a whole other ball game. Game on I say
Good to hear you are giving the quinoa a go it's not that easy to find in the supermarket so hope you do manage to find it in store. It's so good for you and a great filler and I really do hope you enjoy it
Thank you flossie for your continued support and have a great weekend and let us know how you get on with the quinoa
Sound as if you're doing brilliant and have things under control. Congrats on getting into the 11's. I love it when I get into the next stone range down. Must be feeling great.
Thank you Andyt2120, It is a great feeling getting into the next stone gives you something new to work toward like getting to that half stone within that stone then getting past that. This is such a great motivator and one I am not taking lightly. The plan is to crack on, do more and include more strength training this week. Hope you have a great week ahead
I'm just the same. It's the next half stone down, or full stone or as we said the next stone range down. I'm after the 12s next and not far to go. Mini targets are the way for me and sounds like for you too. When I get near a mini target it makes me try that little bit harder to achieve it. I'm 1/2 a pound short of healthy BMI this morning and 1 pound off 8 stone total loss but my other half really, wants to go out for lunch which will stop my BMI target for tomorrow. Want to say no but since imstartedmthis journey we hardly eat out at all which we used to,love.
She has hades hard week at week and she deserves a treat as well as so will go out and have the Sunday lunch, no dessert though. Will just be extra good for next couple of days and hopefully by next week will have cracked the BMI, 8 stone loss and be very close to the 12's.
I do feel in control of my diet and eating choices now and it's a great place to be and sounds like you are there too.
Again WOW !! I'm so happy for you and you have made and kept all these changes for well over a yr now so you have mastered the routine and very soon you can master the maintain.
It's nice that you have decided to take the Mrs out and wait to reach your goal of getting into the healthy BMI for her your a true gentleman.
Hope you enjoy your Sunday lunch today and that all important pound will just be a walk in the park for you
Fantastic - go you! Everything comes in three's - you are in the 11's, ran 7K and getting all the compliments!! You sound so determined, I have floundered this week (and last) but I am going to go for a run now after reading this! Thank you!!
Thank you NoMoreJunk, I am very determined and plan on working even harder this week. Like that you are going for run after reading my post and hope you enjoy it Good on you
