Well not a pound lost this week at all, still 11-8. Night time is the worst for me, always looking for a snack, house is full of food for 10 year old g son up for his hols, so too much temptation, replacement knee is playing up too which doesn't help. Must try harder.

Make sure you plan your evening treats in. Have some very low calorie snacks to nibble on and a 'treat'. That you can eat if you are still below your limit.
Also have you thought of doing something creative. It is hard to put food in your mouth if you are knitting, sewing, drawing even writing.
Good luck with the coming week.
I started doing a bit of embroidery after dinner to stop exactly those after dinner cravings. I started adding colourful sequins onto some plain shirts, added poppers to gaping shirt fronts, and darned thinning elbows on my cardigans so they're ready for winter. Who'd have thought I'd get so handy. I now find I get lots of useful things done in the evenings, as my whole attitude has changed. After dinner isn't for lounging and watching telly, it's for getting a few odd jobs done.
Also how about putting your grandson's snacks somewhere hard to reach? You only need to get them out when he wants to have them. The rest of the time can they go in a box on a high up shelf, maybe keep the ladder somewhere difficult where it would be noisy to get out. If they're in the fridge put them at the top, out of sight, behind a punnet of grapes or something. Also make sure you have plenty of healthy option snacks for yourself that you can turn to instead, things you like but which are healthier. Plan to have one of these snacks with a tea about an hour after dinner to take your mind off the other temptations.
Just keep going, keep trying to implement these new habits. I also hope your knee starts to feel better soon, that sounds like it's really making you feel down. But it all just needs patience and keeping trying to stay positive
Bet your grandson think you are more of a treat than a biscuit or a snack. How about just having healthy snacks in the house full stop! Every photograph of my son in his first eight years, he's got an apple in his hand! Kids love fruit and they love their GPs more!
Don't be so hard on your self. Summer hols are the worst time ever when you are trying to lose weight. Everyone always used to say to me that at least you can eat salads, I say boo hoo to salads they get boring if you have nothing else!!!!!!!. When I used to have all of my 4 at home they house seemed to be constantly full of food, don't know where it all came from. The holidays are nearly over so hopefully that will help. Perhaps give yourself some treats in a box that you can open in the evening to have something special just for yourself, this way you can control what you have and how many calories you consume.
I hope your knee is feeling a bit better.
Be proud of how far you have come and look forward to the future.
Have a great week.
Have a snack box of celery, carrot and pepper sticks?! You can eat so much of these, occupy your hands and think how much better your knee will feel when you lose!
Plan and plan be aware of portion sizes too
If you are not already start counting calories and logging your food.
I find if I get to the end of the day and I am peckish (always happens!) at least if I know I can have that last 100 calories as my favourite yoghurt then I feel OK about fighting the cravings.
