Hi Harri4,
Welcome to the forum, and I hope you'll enjoy being part of this community. It's supportive and friendly. Just having those things can help to build up some motivation to pursue a goal to lose weight, and maybe you can have a read through the various posts and gain some tips on how others have been doing.
I would recommend the NHS 12 week structured plan, as it is well written, and informative, and it gives you a structure that is easy to focus on. The link to that plan is here, if you want to take a look:
nhs.uk/Livewell/weight-loss...
Also, it can help to track your food and drink intake, and a good app for that is Myfitnesspal - it's free and easy to use.
Setting yourself realistic goals, and pre-planning can be helpful too.
Good luck with your weight loss journey.

A good piece of advice often given on here is don't be overwhelmed by the whole amount you need to lose. Take small, manageable steps. Set a first goal (perhaps to lose an initial 1-2 stones), and then set the next goal, and so on. The NHS 12 week plan is a good way of getting started towards that first goal, and then you keep going from there, armed with lots of useful tips, strategies, and helpful mates on here. Just need to get started!

Thank you for your advice. I am going to look at the 12 week plan.
