Last Monday I weighed 13 stone 6.4 pounds, and today I weigh 13 stone 5.8 pounds, so I've lost 0.6 pound this week. I'm glad to have a loss on the scales, even though it is quite small... I feel like I'm back on track again after my holiday, and I'm hoping to lose a pound this week, all being well.
Suzybenj had a great idea last week, and she totted up the pounds lost by our Monday group. Since her tot-up, 3 more people weighed in, so I'm including their contributions too, and can summarise as follows:
Total people posting on last Monday's thread: 29
Total people who lost weight: 15 (30.5 pounds lost)
Total people who gained weight: 7 (10.5 pounds gained)
Total people who maintained weight = 3
Total people starting out on their weight loss journey/plan = 2
Total people who didn't disclose their weight gain/loss = 2.
Therefore, overall pounds lost by the group = 20 pounds.
Well done everyone!!! Hope you will join us this week and share your experiences. Here's to a good week ahead for everyone.

Congratulations to you for losing 0.5 kilograms this week, that is really great! Also, great to hear you've lost 2cm off your waist and 3 cm off your hips in the last month, and most importantly you can touch your toes now! That shows that your flexibility has improved too. Really great!
Hurrah for your loss!! A loss is a loss... two weeks of looking at the same number made me a wee bit unsure about getting up on the scales this morning, but I did and am chuffed to see a difference.
Last week 10:11
This week 10:9
2lb down and back in the healthy range!! My first main target of 10:10 has been met
Might have a little cry into my cup of tea and then look for some gold shoes on eBay!
You're right, a loss is a loss, and whether losing or maintaining should be celebrated!!!
Congratulations to you for losing 2 pounds this week, that is really great!!! Fantastic that you're back in the healthy range and that you've met your first target of getting to 10 stone 10 pounds.
Enjoy looking at those gold shoes on eBay, and hope you find some you like.
Well done Lowcal on your loss. You were determined it was going to happen and you achieved your goal which is all part of the big (or not so big) plan.
Suzybenj's figures are really heartening and encouraging which is what this site is all about. I know I couldn't do it without you all.
Last week weighed in at 13st 3.6lbs and this week 13st 0.4 so lost 3.2lbs. Almost made it into the 12's but then should be there next week (hopefully) and IF I make 12st 11.5 lbs that will be my next achievable goal of five and a half stone lost.
I will continue my three sessions next week at the gym despite pain in my hip which I had to get x-rayed Thursday. Autopsy results due this week lol!!! Doctor was impressed that I hadn't given up the gym and told me she felt "inadequate" in comparison.
Have a good week everyone and don't forget to follow your dreams.
Thanks very much. Yes, the figures as a group are definitely very encouraging. It's such a supportive and encouraging group, and great to be a part of that.
Wow, Congratulations to you for losing 3.2 pounds this week, that is really great, and particularly great that you're almost into the 12's - fantastic!!!! I am so pleased for you!!!! I would so love to be in the 12's, that is my goal. I hope you get there next week, that would be so great!
I hope your hip pain can be treated once they have the results of your X-ray, and I hope you cope with your gym sessions. Be careful not to injure yourself further. At least you GP is supportive of your exercising, which is good.
Yes, following dreams is really good, and here's to a great week ahead.
Congratulations for maintaining your weight this week, that's definitely a success as you've had your visitors and have been eating out quite a few times. You must have made some good choices!
Hope you have a good week ahead, and here's to a loss on the scales for you for next week, all being well.
I've just joined the Health Unlocked app today and have 10 weeks until I say "I Do" to my lovely fiancé.
First forum I've ever joined and am weighing in at exactly 13 stone.
I've joined C25k too and today will be my first run: Wk1, R1.
Lots of firsts and I'm hoping to report a loss next Monday (unless I induce a heart attack today during my first run - it's at least 25 years since I did any exercise!!!!)
A very warm welcome to you, and thanks so much for joining us for this Monday weigh-in. It's exciting to hear that your Wedding is only 10 weeks away, Congratulations!!!!
You've done the first bit, in terms of weighing in for your first weigh-in, and it's great to hear you've also joined the C25k programme too. Good luck with your first run later today. I hope you enjoy it!
Yes, you've got lots of 'firsts', and I hope you'll report your first loss next week on the scales. Wishing you a safe first run - bearing in mind what you've just said about not doing any exercise for 25 years - take it easy and pace yourself.
Well done on your loss Lowcal, I have remained the same this week 😥 and am not likely to lose any this week, lunch out for sister-in-law birthday and 50th party Friday. That said did 10 k run, aerobics and body pump yesterday (followed by pub lunch😳). I will definitely cut down on the days inbetween to help reverse the damage need to get back to the 10's ASAP! Have a good week allxx
Well done for maintaining your weight this week - and wipe away your tears, because maintaining is much better than gaining - I hope you have a great lunch for your sister-in-law's Birthday, and the 50th Birthday party on Friday.
Congratulations for doing that 10k run, aerobics and body pump - I think you deserved a pub lunch after that!
Hopefully you'll be back in those 10's very soon - keep up your dedication and you'll keep on track. I have every faith in you!
Morning everyone. It's time for me to join the party and start a healthier and fitter life. I had a heavy weekend which has been planned for a long time and to be honest I have been a bit prone to using up and coming social events as a reason for putting off the beginning of this weight loss journey. Enough!! I figure that I need the routine of a regular "weigh in" to help to keep me on track. My starting weight today is 11st 5lb. At 5ft 3in I am over 1st overweight but my final goal would be within the 9st 2lb - 9st 6lb bracket. My first goal is to reach the 10's and increase my exercise levels. Kettlebell tonight and hopefully pilates towards the end of the week. Have a good week everyone and I'll see you all here again on Monday.
A very warm welcome to you - it's so great that you've joined us for this Monday weigh-in. Hopefully you'll enjoy the party and your start on a healthier and fitter life. Glad you've begun the journey today - it can be easy to put things off sometimes, and taking that first step is therefore significant. So well done you!
You've done your weigh-in, and you've got your starting weight. You've set yourself your first goal, to reach the 10's and increase your exercise levels. Enjoy that kettle bell session tonight, and the Pilates later in the week.
We'll look forward to catching up with you at next week's weigh-in, and wish you a great week ahead.
The NHS 12 week plan is a good structure, if you want to follow one. Let me know if you want the link to it - although I think it's fairly easy to find on this site.
Yeah Lowcal well done I am glad to see you are back in the swing of things after returning from your hols and you have set a good goal for the next weigh in. No matter how small, a loss is a loss and I am really pleased for you
The sun hasn't shone as yet so not got anywhere close to getting a tan LOL but I am still hopeful.
I have a lot to focus on this week as I want to break that stone and get into the 12's so diet and exercise is my number one focus this week. As I maintained at my last weigh in I am hoping personally to lose 2 lbs this week which would be such a bonus.
Well done to everyone who lost those 20 lbs, that is brilliant
The sun isn't shining today - lots of fog actually, so hope it lifts soon to enjoy some sunshine... Glad you're still hopeful for a tan ahead.
Well done for maintaining at your last weigh-in, and hope you lose those 2 pounds you want to lose this week. Sounds like you're focused and determined, and that will stand you in good stead!
Wishing you a great week ahead.
Lowcal
p.s. I've just seen your photo that you've posted - you look soooooo great, and I love your pyjamas. Great picture.
Hi, I guess this is my first actual official Monday weigh in lol. I joined on Thursday so I've only been doing the nhs plan for 4 days but I was very pleased with the results!
Thursday morning I weighed 17 st 5 lbs, This morning 17 st 1.4 lbs so that's a loss of 3.6 lbs in 4 days! I'll be sticking to those calories for sure!!! Roll on week 2
Ohhhh Lowcal well done for a loss after coming back from holiday, I know its sooooooo easy to continue to gain after holidays sooooo congrats
A very warm welcome to you, and glad you've joined the weigh-in today. I hope the past 4 days on the NHS plan have been good, and I'm really pleased to hear you've had some good initial results. Wow, losing 3.6 pounds in your first 4 days is fantastic, really well done!!!!
Thanks for your kind words about my weight loss - I had hoped to lose a bit more, but I think I might have been a bit dehydrated after my holiday, so I suspect that might be the reason.
Hope you have a great week ahead, and hope to see you at next week's weigh-in.
Morning Lowcal! I have maintained this week (sounds so much more positive than stayed the same!!) The school holidays start on Friday this week and I notoriously gain BUT during the Easter holidays I managed to lose ... so my plan is to encourage my 12 year old son to do Couch to 5k (I graduated in March 2014), he is a keen footballer, but running is not one of his particular strengths .... I will do it alongside him in the hope that the interval style will encourage fat burning, then on his 'rest' day he can cycle and I'll have a 'proper' run!!! We'll see how my very tenacious 7 year old daughter manages too 😉
Good morning! I truly believe it is positive to maintain weight-loss. After all, the media reports last week suggested that many people re-gain their weight-loss, so to maintain the losses is definitely something to celebrate.
It's good that you've reminded yourself of your previous school holiday (Easter) and the fact you managed to lose weight - because hopefully you can also do that over the Summer holidays too. Great plan to encourage your 12 years old son to do the Couch to 5k. Interval style should definitely encourage fat burning, as quite a lot of research suggests it does just that. Hope your 7 year old daughter manages ok as well.
You're back on track Lowcal; heading in the right direction once again, well done to you. Very interesting set of stats and didn't we all do well?
I shed 1lb last week. I'm quite content with a slow but sure result, however, on beginning my plan I set myself a weight goal and a date by which I should achieve it, I currently have 11lbs to lose to reach my goal but...only 9 weeks in which to get there and realistically I may not succeed, so this week sees me begin a final push!
Good morning! Thanks for your positive words, which are much appreciated.
Congratulations to you for losing 1 pound last week. I know you are feeling a bit behind with your weight-loss schedule, but losing weight in a slow but sure manner can be extremely healthy. Don't put too much pressure on yourself - I would say that the fact you are losing weight continuously is a massive success.
Wecome to you and thanks for joining us for this Monday weigh-in.
Wow, that's a great result in your first week - Congratulations for losing 4.75 pounds (if my poor Maths serves me right - open to correction). That is a fantastic result.
Hope you enjoyed your first week, and I wish you a great second week ahead.
Well done on your weight loss this week, as you say it's a start. I am the same again this week 12.12 but have been in hospital to have treatment under general anaesthetic and it takes me a few days to get over it so haven't done much and have had a few treats. I have to go in about every four months.
Well feel okay today so must get down to it this week and stop the nibbles.Going shopping this morning so will stock up on good healthy choices and just a few treats for my husband that I'm not bothered about.
The weightloss scores you did were very good, let's see if we can improve on it this week.
Hope everyone has had a good week and Good Luck for next week.
Glad you are ok after your hospital treatment and having that general anaesthetic, and hope you're feeling better after that now. You've done well to maintain your weight in the circumstances, and well done for doing that.
Good luck with cutting back on your nibbles this week, and hope you find lots of healthy things to stock up on during your shopping.
Yes, I was very pleased with the group's weightloss scores - I just hope it doesn't put people off posting if they happen to gain weight - I've noticed we've all either lost or maintained so far today. I'm hoping having the summaries will serve to be motivating to us all rather than off-putting to anyone - Suzybenj's idea was a really good one, and it will be interesting to compare our stats week by week.
Many thanks, and it's brilliant that you've joined us from your holidays in sunny Spain - it's great to have you with us, and hopefully you can spread some sunshine from over there. We need it over here today!
Congratulations on losing 0.5 pound today, that is incredible to have lost whilst on holiday.
Enjoy that lovely breakfast of toast and eggs with fresh orange juice. Sounds delicious.
I know you said you'd tot up our weight loss scores each week, but in view of the fact you're in Spain, I don't mind doing it this next couple of weeks, unless you want to of course! I'll leave it till the end of the day, so if you do happen to do it, just post the results so I can make a note of them - otherwise I'll report the summaries next week at the start of the weigh-in post.
Hope that makes sense...
Wishing you a fab holiday, and good luck with maintaining during that time.
Well done on your loss and quickly getting back in the saddle after your hols!
Last week I was 10st 12 and this week I am 10st10 so 2lbs lost. I'm very pleased and am now only 2lbs over my maximum average weight!
Last week I was yakking about starting a food diary because I had my first gain since starting the Nhs plan in February this year. Turns out I did not have the time to do this however just being mindful of not wanting to return to being obese seems to have done the trick and of course the support I've been getting from this thread. I know I'm going on a bit here but before I would have just used this as an excuse to fall off the wagon.
Good luck Lowcal and to all other folk posting on this thread for a
Congratulations to you for losing 2 pounds this week, that is really great. Amazing that you're only 2 pounds over your maximum average weight now, really great progress.
It's good that you were mindful of your goals over the past week, and that focus helped you to keep on track. I think it's great that you expanded on your thought processes, because it's those kind of things that help us all to understand and learn from each other. So thanks for sharing it.
Hi everyone and well done on all your losses so far. I've not joined here before (although it was my intention on wk 1), but I have been an avid lurker over the past six weeks and your progresses are inspiring. Pat on the backs for everyone!
I've weighed in on wk 6 this morning and lost 3lbs after maintaining last week. This puts my total to 16lbs in 6 wks! My target is two stone and now I'm more than half way there. My hubby has been with for the ride and he has lost 19lbs so far. This plan has totally changed our eating habits for the better.
Many thanks. I'm so glad that you've been an 'avid lurker' on this thread, because that's the beauty of the threads that we can often read them and not necessarily 'join in', but I have to say I'm thrilled that you decided to join in with us actively today - as it's great to have you here! We appreciate your pats on our backs - it really does help to have encouragement and support.
Congratulations and many pats on your own back for losing 3 pounds this week, and for maintaining your weight last week. Wow, you've lost 16 pounds in 6 weeks, well over a stone. That's brilliant!
It's great to hear that your husband has also lost weight, and his total of 19 pounds so far is really inspiring too.
It's great to hear that the NHS 12 week plan has helped to change your eating habits for the better. I think it's a great plan, but the fact is that you have both committed to it, and you have reaped the benefits from your diligence and commitment to following it.
Hope to see you in future weigh-ins, and thanks so much for joining us today!
Pats on the back to you both. Fabulous results. Have a great week. X
Hi Lowcal - really please to hear you've managed to start moving in the right direction again. On my scales your 0.8lb would probably register as 1lb. Decimal mesaurements are so precise! But I appreciate that precision is useful in a way. I hope you see this loss as evidence that it wasn't as difficult to get back on track after your hol as you thought it would be. Hope you have a good week ahead too.
Also really encouraged by the overall figures as per SuzyBenj's suggestion! Amazing to be part of such a positive, determined group. After reading through the comments above I feel really positive myself, we are def sharing the love on here
So, last week I was one of the 3 who stayed the same, but this week I'm happy to report I've lost 2lb from 11st6 down to 11st4. I feel like the 10s are almost within reach. I'll hopefully get there in my remaining 4 weeks on the 12 week plan. After feeling so flat last week as a result of staying the same, I hope to sustain the positive feeling that losing 2lb has given me this time (while also remembering the bigger picture of course!). Hope everyone here has an excellent week too, and for anyone who's gained or stayed the same, hold on in there, a loss will come your way soon too
I only lost 0.6 pound, so I suspect it might not have registered as a loss at all on your scales... Yes, I do take it as a positive that I am getting back on track after my holiday - and it hasn't been as difficult as I thought it would be.
Yes, the group is a positive and determined one - and sharing the love is very special.
Yes, I remember that you maintained your weight last week, and it's fantastic to hear you've lost 2 pounds this week. Congratulations, and hopefully you'll be nearing the 10's very soon. I know you'd had a 'flat' feeling last week, and I'm so glad that you're feeling more positive so far this week. I know it's only Monday, but sometimes Mondays can be challenging at the best of times.
Oops - sorry for getting my numbers wrong! I do sometimes see the numbers flickering on the scales as if it's deciding where to allocate me, and I sort of shift my position to try and help it come out on a number I want to see! As you've moved from just over 13st6 to just under 13st6, my scales may well have been unkind to you... Glad you have precise ones in that case! There's always the fallback of comparing waist measurements etc, if the scales aren't registering a loss or as much of a loss as you want, but you know you've put in the effort. I'm planning to make sure I have good goals set up across the week this time. Trying to lose weight can be quite preoccupying. After applying for 8 jobs last week (with more to do still) I think I may well be busy this week. Glad to hear getting back on track wasn't too difficult. Best of luck for a good week ahead
Hello everybody,I have just found this website after feeling so low with weight gain.
I had become so sluggish and it was really bothering me.
Well commencing week 2 today of 12 week plan, really mentally struggled beginning of week,my stomach is probably largest part of me and at 5 FT 1", I look really awful,I just could not envisage ever looking "normal" again.
I have started swimming and walking but until THursday last week it was difficult.I kept thinking what was the point I am going to be fat forever, then on Friday started reading lots of posts on here and something seems to have clicked a bit!
I actually ran for 4 minutes then 5 minutes as part of my daily walk, then went swimming yesterday and I do seem to have found some motivation finally!
So weight at beginning of week 1 10 stone 5 pounds.
Weight beginning of week 2: 10 stone. Yippe!
I seem to have calmed down a bit with the anxiety over weight too,I have decided to just try and exercise as much as possible and look forward to all the changes instead of being in a terrible rush.
NHS bmi recommends a 2 stone 6 pounds weight loss which seemed daunting but I must say I feel ready after reading so many great stories on here, thank you everybody, good luck to all!
I would like to welcome you and thank you for joining us for today's Monday weigh-in. I really enjoyed reading your post, and thanks so much for giving the detail that you did, because it really shows how you evolved as the week went on, and developed some great feelings of motivation as time went on.
Those feelings of self-doubt and negativity definitely can hold us back sometimes, but the thing is that you've challenged them, and you've found that your swimming and walking - and then adding in those 4 and 5 minute runs, as well as reading the posts within this forum have been inspiring. By mixing in that running to your walk, you've described what is essentially some interval training, and that is such a great way to burn fat.
Congratulations on losing 5 pounds in your first week - that is incredible. Many people also take their body measurements, and compare those on a monthly basis or thereabouts, and that can also be a good measure to compare. I know you said you dislike your body-shape currently, but I hope your self-esteem will soar as you notice changes over time, and that you will enjoy your weight-loss journey.
Thanks for sharing your very inspiring first week with us. Hope to see you in future weigh-ins.
Firstly, I will say Congratulations to you for maintaining your weight this week, as it is definitely a positive not to have gained. I know you're disappointed, and I know how much you wanted to be in the 12's, as you are so close to getting there. I find it's often the way that just when we're on the cusp of such a momentous change (transitioning from 13's to 12's, etc) then for some reason we plateau for a bit - I've found this myself regarding my wish to get into the 12's.
But you are sooooooo close to it, and so don't feel too despondent if you can, because hopefully (all being well) you'll be celebrating it next week. We are all routing for you.
Thanks for joining us today for this Monday weigh-in. A warm welcome to you.
Congratulations on losing 4 pounds this week, and for losing 11 pounds so far on the NHS plan, and especially for your total loss of 8 stone 8 pounds since the start of your weight loss journey. That is truly inspirational!
Apologies if I've made any errors in my calculations there, as my ability at Maths leaves a lot to be desired...! Hopefully I got your calculations correct.
You have done amazingly, and I am so pleased to hear that you're feeling very very happy.
Hi and congrats on the weight loss especially after holidays. My 2nd weigh in and I lost another 3lb total loss now 7.5lb. Hoping to get another 2 off this week and I'll be down into 13 stone something!!
Congratulations to you for losing 3 pounds this week, to add to the 4.5 pound loss you had last week. Wow, a total loss of 7.5 pounds in two weeks, that's really good! You'll be looking good on your forthcoming holiday in 11 weeks.
Good luck with your goal to get into the 13's this week. Wishing you another great week ahead.
I'm still chugging away with the modest progress – 2lb down this week, hooray.
It's also another milestone, as I got past the 14st threshold to reach 13st 13. It feels good to have a weight which starts with a 13!
I look in the mirror and see I'm still a bit blobby, but it's going well and I just have to keep at it! Thanks to all those who have posted inspiring stories on here!
Congratulations on losing 2 pounds this week, I think that is really great progress. Soooooo exciting that you've reached the milestone of getting into the 13's - that's really great!!!
There are lots of inspiring stories on here today - I am always inspired by how everyone is doing.
Week 9 and a loss of 1lb making 16lbs since I started. I'm quite happy with that and am noticing a difference in my clothes and just generally feeling better. I didn't expect to lose this week as I was baking (and eating) cakes last week but I'm back to normal now.
Well done on your loss, too. We're definitely heading in the right direction!
Thanks for joining us for Monday's weigh-in, and Congratulations to you for losing 1 pound this week, and totalling a fantastic weight loss of 16 pounds since the start of your journey (in 9 weeks). It's great that you've noticed a difference in your clothes, and that you're feeling better in yourself too.
Many thanks for your kind words as well - which are much appreciated.
Omg I can't believe I forgot to get on the scales this morning, this is very unusual for me, I'm an every morning weigher! I'll have to weigh in tomoro and pretend it's Monday. Don't know what's wrong with me today, heads all over the shop!
No problem, like you say, you can still weigh-in tomorrow, and just add your post to this thread, if that suits you. I'll still include your results in our group's weigh-in, plus any other 'late weighers' - I don't mind a bit of 'late weighing' - better late than never is what I say! I appreciate your support of this thread.
Have a nice relaxing evening if you can, sounds like you need one, and then you'll wake hopefully refreshed and 'lighter' tomorrow.
Wishing you good luck with the weigh-in, and I'll be here tomorrow to see how you've got on.
A very warm welcome to you, and thanks for joining us for this Monday weigh-in. I certainly agree with you that every little helps, regarding weight-loss.
You've taken the first step in sharing your weight today, and I hope you have a really good first week, and begin your weight loss journey with an enjoyable first week. Are you going to do the NHS 12 week plan, or something else? I think the NHS plan is really good.
Wishing you a great week ahead, and hope to see you at next week's weigh-in.
Hi Lowcal and all. Lowcal, I'm really pleased you've got your dieting mojo back! You'll be back to your pre holiday weight in no time
Sorry I'm posting a day late - I weighed myself yesterday morning but couldn't get my phone to open up the dialogue box to post! (I won't be getting another Windows phone)Anyway, I digress! I weighed in at 17st4lbs which although huge, is 1lb down from last week so I'm happy enough.
Great to see you! Thanks for your kind words - I am hoping my dieting mojo is back. Sorry to hear you had some difficulties logging in yesterday, and glad you could make it today.
Congratulations on losing 1 pound this week, that is really great.
I'll be reporting on our total weight loss stats as a group at the start of next week's weigh-in, so that it's a pleasant surprise and hopefully will be motivating for everyone.
Lost 1lb this week, was 16.3 last week, 16.2 this. I can cope with this as only managed to get to the gym once last week. Aiming for 3 off this week and get out of the 16s!
Congratulations on losing 1 pound, that is really great! At least you did get to the gym once, and that's an achievement - you can get quite a bit done in one gym session.
Good luck with your goal for this week - wishing you a good transition into the 15's very soon!
I'll report the total stats for this Monday's group at the start of next week's weigh-in, so that you can be pleasantly surprised and motivated by your acheivements - you have completely exceeded my expectations this week, as there have been so many excellent losses on the scales, and also some maintainance of weight loss, which should also be celebrated.
There weren't any gainers who posted this week, so I just want to say that I hope anyone out there who has gained weight this week would still join in the weigh-in, as it really does help to have the group's support at such times. I gained some weight last week, and although I didn't enjoy sharing that, I found it so helpful that I did, as people really helped me move forward, and luckily I lost this week.
Wishing everyone a great week ahead. I think you're all amazing.
late as always! Life gets very complicated during school hols. 11.8 - one pound done. 6lbs in total with 5 weeks on my fitness pal. Happy enough with that as pretty sure it's fat rather than water etc
Better late than never, great to see you as always!
Congratulations on losing a pound this week, that is really great. It's brilliant to hear you've lost 6 pounds in total within 5 weeks on your app. Great progress.
Hi lowcal, this week the scale claims iv put on 3lbs which I'm gutted about. I took the weekend off as I had family visiting from down south and a birthday party but I thought I'd been good enough during the week to have stayed the same. Clearly not!
I hope you enjoyed the visit from your family and the Birthday party too. It sounds like you've been good during the week, so hopefully that 3 pound gain will come off again really quickly - you should have a great loss next week therefore!
Don't let it upset your week, just keep on track, and I'm sure you'll be fine.
Thank you lowcal,I think at the ripe old age of 48 am beginning to appreciate how important exercise is!!
I did take my measurements, something I have never done in my life!
Waist 35 inches
Chest 41 inches
Hips 40.5 inches.
Although obviously I am overweight all over,my tummy is a real problem plus it is health wise the unhealthiest place to gain a lot of weight I am gathering
Will be trying my new DAvinia dvd later(had it for 6 months!)
Will be back for next Monday's weigh in,keep going everyone.
Well done for taking your measurements, as that will be a good gauge to show change over time. I hope you enjoy the Davina DVD - I've got one by her too that I bought in a car-boot sale for 50p (bargain!), but I've not yet used it - you've just reminded me of it, so I must look it out and try it.
Look forward to catching up with you at the weigh-in next week.
Lowcal
Well done Lowcal on your loss. It's good to get back into it and as I have said before a 2 lb gain on holiday really was impressive! I am struggling this week as today is my eldest's last day at infant school so all rather emotional resulting in drinks and food later to commiserate/celebrate! Then off to my parents tomorrow for more food/wine probably as that is the norm. Will try and keep it to the minimum but it's that time of year! So dreading Friday's weigh in. I may not be so consistant over the summer and get back to it in September as I find it easier without the kids around! Anyway wishing you a good week.
Thanks so much for popping by, and I hope you manage to cope ok with all those emotions regarding your eldest's last day at infant school - definitely an emotional day. I'm sure you'll think of a plan to help you to cope with the drinks and foods later in the day.
I hope your weigh-in on Friday will be better than you anticipate. I think the Summer months are definitely more challenging - although I also like the fact it's a good opportunity to eat more healthy salads.
Thanks for your support, and I'll definitely pop by to your Friday weigh-in to see how you're getting on.
