Couch to 5k

So I've just finished week 1 and read on to week 2. It says a big part of it is the couch to 5k. I don't really want to be jogging/running. I would prefer maybe cycling instead but how much should I do?

You should only do what you can do at this stage and if running or jogging ain't for you then don't do it. I didn't do any running or jogging I just walked and walked on the treadmill for 40 mins per day 5 days a week on my second week and lost 5 lbs. You will notice that your fitness levels will increase over time and that you will want to be doing more and eventually build up to a jog and onto running. This is what happened to me and now I can run a 5k. It all just take a little time. Cycling is great I love cycling I do about 45 mis when I am out on the bike.

Good luck and enjoy what ever you choose hun :-)

Thanks Trafford1. I think I'll just have to see how I go on the first ride and go from there.
