I follow the Slimming World diet, but went out of target when I went on holiday and just can't get back on track, hence I haven't been weighed since May!!!
I'm on and off my scales at home everyday and just feel fed up!!!

Thank you so much for this!!! I do think I need to try something different and even thinking of spending £114 on that C9 Cleanse to see if it will give me the kick I need!!
Sorry to hear you've been feeling a bit fed up after returning from your holiday - it is challenging to get back into normal routines after a holiday.
You could also take a look at the NHS 12 week pages, if you'd like to, as they have a structured 12 week plan that is useful and has some good tips. I think it's really good. Here's the link, if you do want to take a look:
I lead a Monday weigh-in thread, and you'd be very welcome to join us if you want to for a weekly weigh-in. It's a supportive group of people, and they are really enthusiastic too, which really helps.
I use an app called Myfitnesspal to help me record my food and drink intake, and also log my exercise. It's a free app and very easy to use.
I have read the Slimming World magazines occasionally, and I really like their recipes generally - they have some tasty ones!
I can relate to what you are saying Hannah I seem to have lost the ability to follow a diet without losing interest - sometimes as early as Day 1 . My scales are like a bouncy castle too!!
The meds I take mean that the weight just seems to hang on. I get fed up too and I don't really know the answer but this forum is so helpful and supportive and I feel better just knowing that I'm not alone. I wish you well on your journey and hope that you start to feel better soon. Check into here as often as you can for inspiration and great support!
I've been back on my Slimming World for a couple of days and feel a bit better, but I could quite easily ruin it with something naughty - even though I'm not hungry!!!
Someone has told me to throw away my household scales as I'm on them first thing, and before I go to bed!!!
It's nice to know that I'm not alone in this and other people suffer the same anxieties about weight and food!!!
