I'm going to put my scales in a corner till they apologise, I'm sick of this yo yo thing 10-13 then 11-1 up and down, I know I'm very stressed at the moment but don't think I'm comfort eating, but I'm doing something wrong. What I don't know ??

Hi I'm sorry that you're feeling so fed up but it seems as though you're only fluctuating by 2lbs which isn't much and can be accounted for by hormones (especially if you're stressed - cortisol), water retention etc.
I suggest that you check calorie intake and portion size and also consider if you are eating a lot of sugars/ refined carbs. Are you eating enough? Are you drinking enough water? Have you recalculated your calorie needs if you have lost weight as you may need fewer cals now/ if you're exercising a lot then you may need more? Are you sleeping ok?
I find that I need to shock my body now and then by doing something different - try changing something to shake things up a bit - you could try the 5:2 diet, could try juicing for a couple of days, try a different form of exercise etc.
Hope you see some positive results soon.

Thanks mags, limited mobility after knee replacement so no exercise, trying to cut down as weight will affect new knee, will try writing everything down I eat, which helps to see where I am going wrong, aiming for 10-7 just small goals which are attainable.
Are you always weighing yourself at the same time of day, I know that I can be a kg heavier if I weigh myself in the evening. Plus have you checked your scales? If I weigh myself in my kitchen I weigh less than in the bathroom because of the uneven floors, and the batteries ran down which meant that I'd thought my weight loss had stalled when really it was the scales!
Always weigh myself in the morning, and in the same place in the bedroom, haven't checked the batteries yet, I've got to blame something, hopefully it will settle down, and I'll start losing again.
