I have given up processed foods and sugar. Not counting calories so hope you don't mind me posting on here. I am mostly following Amelia Freer - 'Eat, Nourish, Glow'.

My first week too, loooove week one, all inspired and ready to go. I think being on here might help with motivation. Did you get headaches after giving up sugar? I gave up caffeine and had the worst headaches for a week, I can't believe how much affect it can have on your body! Congratulations on your first week, one step at a time
Yes did have headaches and feeling low. Good for you giving up caffeine. I need to keep it going week after week and still be sugar free in a year's time.

The caffine withdrawal is terrible the first few weeks but once its out of your system the headaches will stop. Alot of people do not realize caffine is in the sweet sugary drinks (even the low cal ones). I used to get headaches from sweetners so stoped using those too. Now Im on totally unprocessed foods I feel much better and healthier.
