Week 6 and another 1lb off making 10lb in total slow but sure.
Tonight I have a bit of a challenge I am going to a Chinese restaurant with friends, does anyone have any advice on what to eat that isn't going to be too damaging? I am going to drive so won't be having any alcohol. π

Nice work Rosie23 10 lbs to date is great. Keep up the good work it will pay off. As far as the Chinese restaurant goes well all I can say is yum, enjoy.
Hi Rosie, when I go to the Chinese now, I don't use my calories for any prawn crackers, rice or noodles. I have meat or fish dishes and a vegetable side for example: Salt and pepper spare ribs, and fried bamboo shoots with water chestnuts. Maybe a soup to start with.
Hi Linda, thank you so much for your ideas for the Chinese meal. I had never thought of a veg side dish instead of the rice. I have to work so hard to lose a lb a week I really don't want to ruin it this week.
Well done on your weight loss your doing great. If you know what food you like from the Chinese restaurant maybe just put them into myfitnesspal and check calories before you go, i had an Indian at the weekend and i put down what i was having before i went and then i enjoyed eating it as it was within my calories for that day. I didnt have my usual keema naan tho as i found out that it had 850 calories!!! but when i ate my curry i was full up so i wouldnt have managed it in the end.
Hi Jh, Thank you for your support, I will look at the restaurant menu & put a few options into myfitnesspal that will give me an idea of what to order.
Well done on the loss try to avoid fried foods and any creamy sauces. But enjoy your evening out you can always get some exercise in tomorrow to make up for any indulgences
