I worked out 4 times last week at pretty high intensity and kept to 1,400 calories.
This has to be one of the best weeks of dieting and exercise I've had in a very long time. But no loss. It's way too early for this be a plateau.
I'm not super discouraged but I'm just expecting to see my weightloss pay off on the scale. Monday's are cheat days so I enjoyed myself and didn't work out. But I'll be back on my workout schedule today till Sunday.
Wishing everyone a great week! X

Don't get discouraged - I've come to the conclusion that weight loss follows no rules or reason sometimes. Times when I think I've done really well, nothing has changed, and other times I reckon I've blown it, and weight has come off !!
You had a good loss last week, so it'll even out over time - just keep going and next week you should see a good loss. Might be just water retention or anything - have you tried checking your measurement - sometimes they show a change, even if the weight hasn't dropped

Thank you! Checked my measurements and I've lost an inch around my waist.
I'll keep going!
Hi Maryfunke, don't be too surprised if this happens once in a while, as you are sticking to an exercise regime, you will be exchanging fat for muscle and as we know, muscle weighs more than fat. For this reason, it's a good idea to take note of other measurements such as waist, hip, bust, thighs etc.
I find the tape measure of more use than the weighing scales to be honest. I suppose that's why my goal is not so much to lose weight but to get in shape, and losing weight is more of a bye product of the healthy lifestyle regime.
