I have struggled with my perception of my weight since I was 14, and now unfortunately I do actually have something to worry about as I have become overweight.
I have decided to start on Monday and am looking for ideas on how to get planning?
Any help would be appreciated

Hi there, have you checked out the NHS 12 week weight loss plan? I use it with MyFitnessPal to track the calories, when I started out I used the barcode scanner on MFP to plan all my meals in advance so I knew what I could eat to stay inside the calorie allowance ... Good luck on your journey 🌸
Hey and welcome to the forum, lots of supportive people here. I love your pic, made me laugh. Your post really struck a chord with me and reminded me of a similar picture I saw a while ago which said "I wish I was as fat as the first time I thought I was fat"!
The NHS plan is a great place to start and I'd also recommend my fitness pal. I find the best way is to plan your meals for the week (including healthy snacks) and write a list from that to take food shopping. That way I only come home with what I need which avoids temptation later on in the week. Yes it's a little time consuming at first, but you soon get used to what you will need and do it automatically.
I wish you the best of luck with reaching your goals and look forward to hearing how you get on 🌸
Hi and welcome. Good luck on your journey I wish you every success and as already recommended MFP is a great app to track calories and exercise calories. You will find as you add in exercise calories MFP will allow for extra calories which I don't use. Try and stick to your daily allowance or less if it is high to start with. I stick to 1200 - 1400.
Welcome, I hope you find what you need in this community. You'll find many motivational posts here! Start by dowloading an app on your phone to keep track of calories (Fat Secret, My Fitness Pal...), it's a great aid! Good luck!
