Hi.... I'm a newbie!

Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I'm 44, mum to 3 boys and work permanent nightshifts. After being diagnosed with depression and starting antidepressants just before Xmas, I decided to help myself as much as I could too... As soon as I started to feel a little better I started walking 6k every day and changed my eating habits... I now walk 8k every day (walk 3k, then run 3k then walk the rest) and I've lost 19lbs. I'm so proud of myself, I have more energy and feel brilliant. I soooooo wish I'd done this years ago!!

Well done. I'm a mum (45) and had terrible depression after my children were born, after a few years on antidepressants I'm back off them and I think running and exercise has really helped with that. I run a few 10ks when the weather is better and it keeps me sane. I've piled on the lbs in the last 3 years but I've just started losing again so it's great to hear how far you've come in a short space of time. Keep running! 🌟
