The end of my first week. I have managed to lose one pound. Doesn't seem much, but I haven't got down to my recommended calorie intake yet, so not too bad. I have also lost 2 cm off my waist which feels good. Onward to week 2!

I always get demotivated when it's 'just' a pound and end up falling off the wagon and putting 2 on! However we need to remember 12 weeks of 'just' a pound is 12 pounds!!!! I could really use loosing that 12 lol well done with ur pound fingers crossed I get there too, this is day 1 for me!
Yes, I do have to keep on track and aim to lose again this week. Will be good to hear how you do in a week's time. I'll be rooting for you!
I have lost 1lb a week on average since starting the 12 week plan in June and then carrying on with the healthier habits I developed. sometimes I haven't lost anything. I have now lost 2 stone - it adds up in the end even though it seems slow. Also, for me it has meant that I have been able to keep going with my healthy eating regime - I have gradually adjusted to the lower intake and more exercise and I hardly think about it any more but have still been losing weight. I have also been able to have an easier time at weekends with treats like wine, snacks and roast dinners. I could have gone for a much stricter regime and lost more weight per week for a few weeks, but it wouldn't have lasted and I would have given up. Good luck with your healthy eating - slow and steady will pay off in the end!!
