Morning, so I've just completed my first week and weighed in today at 12st 3lbs - that's a 2lb weight loss so I'm really pleased. I haven't banned any foods, I've adjusted my portion size and just tried think before I dived into the chocolates and biscuits. I've switched away from Fat Free yoghurts as they were making me hungry and crave sweet things more, I don't look at the Calorie intake on yoghurts just the flavours - they could be low fat or full. My waist has also gone from 38ins/98cms to 37ins/96cms. I downloaded the Couch to 5K which is far better than I thought it would be so all in all. I'm pleased and I hope that any newbies who joined last week like me have had successes too. Onwards to Week 2!
We definately can do this!

That's brilliant! I've just done my first weigh-in and hope to be saying the same as you this time next week. Need to take my measurements, as it's great that you've seen a difference that way too. Keep up the good work!
Thanks, I've never been one for taking measurements before - didn't like the numbers I guess - but I thought I would go for a total change and hopefully it will inspire me on the days when the weight loss isn't so great. Plus when my clothes start to feel more comfortable as they do today it certainly helps
Awesome. Really well done. Losing weight makes us feel so good.
well done! I found your post just the motivational thing I needed this morning! You should feel very proud of yourself for making so many positive changes all at once. I hope your success keeps you motivated for the week ahead
That's brilliant, well done. I can see that you have just the right attitude too, not banning anything or being a slave to labels. I eat full fat natural yogurt too as it is my favourite one, but i still lose weight!
