When I started I had to shift near enough 50kg, 15kg have been lost since the end of October. What works for me is tracking all calories - in and out. I wear a pedometer at all times and count all my calories to make sure I have a calorie deficit of about 1000 each day.
For me briskly walking helps a lot. Luckily and can walk to and from work and then go out for another walk in the evening, totalling about 4-6 miles a day - as a result I'm 'allowed' to eat 1400 kcal ;).
So my advise - walk whenever you can.
Good luck!!
i'm still learning lovely, but planning seems to a key factor - planning meals and having a health snack box. i have 65kg to lose i started Monday today is Thursday and its difficult for me not to stuff my face! I want everything lol, so i'm not the best at this dieting thing yet - but if you need motivation i'm good at helping set goals - i just find it difficult to reach my own.
Take every day as it comes
How about doing the NHS 12week plan? Every week you learn a bit more about one or two aspects of healthy lifestyle, and so you don't have to be overwhelmed by having to do too much too fast. The plan is here nhs.uk/Livewell/weight-loss...
I am on week 3 and find it very sensible and doable. have a look and come back with any questions. Good luck!
are u getting enough protien in your diet? how many calories are you eating in a day? u should be eating 1.200 a day. its hard to do.
Try the 5:2 diet - it's brilliant and it's free. I lost 20 kilos in six months youtu.be/W9Aj6hRYg4A
I used the free MyFitnessPal app to count calories.
