Jumped on the scales today, first time since May and to my horror am 19stones and 6 lbs!! No wonder I find going upstairs exhausting, being breathless with a heart thundering away. Have re-joined health unlocked as I find the site, tips, comments motivational. hey ho, here I go again.

Oh dear, a summer off.
Hi Snakehips2 - it is good you feel the urgency to lose weight.
I am also at my highest weight ever, which was a good wake-up call. I cannot see myself losing more than 0.5lb to 1lb a week, so I am in for the long haul. If I can be 12lb lighter by Christmas I will be happy; the rest can come off after that.
Let's just stay with the plan!
Oh what a disappointment. Had you been on this weight loss plan before and how much did you lose? (Or what was your last weight when you were on the scales?) Hey, that's the past and now is present! Go for it and enjoy being a more leaner you. Good luck.
Sudden reality check that although we take summer off eating healthy our bodies do not. I personally believe it's our holidays that make us overweight. For instance your going to spend the next 2-3 months burning off this period then what? It's Xmas...you put it back on...then what Easter and it s back on after that summer is back and the cycle continues without including birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, weddings and births. So were continually trying to lose the weight of our last binge but we overeat before it's all burnt off. Ta da nationwide weight gain...it's my theory anyways
