I know it's easier to lose weight the heavier you are but 20kg in 6 weeks sounds a little high. I would aim for 12 and if it really must be in 6 weeks then you can go on a heavy fast/cut right at the end... But if it's not for some special occasion stick to losing 1-2lbs of fat per week. If you have already dropped 40kg then the next 20 won't be as easy.
Nonetheless you want tips. For extreme results increase all non exercise activity outside your exercise regimes. Due to the weight your at I wouldn't suggest high intensity due to the hypertensive state and any medical issues you may or may not have. As with all people, work multiple joint exercises concentrating on the big muscles, like legs and back to get the most out of how many calories you can burn at rest. Do resistance first before cardio. Concentrate on legs a lot, not only will you burn more but you will improve their resistance Nd strength meaning you can push harder when exercising and generally be able to move your weight better.
Walk everyday 30minutes minimum (headphone + audible book or knowledge learn and walk ) clean house, dishes, iron upstairs, march when brushing teeth, take showers not baths, do gardening, do an exercise like squats during TV breaks. Try not to do press ups or other exercises that put pressure on yr joints due to body weight exercises can be too strenuous with higher weight populations. Cut out on the big things like cheese, sauces, don't drink your calories, drink 2 litres a day, with q glass before and one glass after meals to feel full. Have more protein than carbs unless your burning off the carbs don't know what your excise regime is, but 40kg I would say keep doing what your doing until you plateau then change it up. Losing weight doesn't just make you healthy, the goal is to reduce body fat especially abdominal fat. So don't get too caught up on the scales measure your waists if you feel it won't demotivate you. We just need a baseline to know where you have come from.
It takes 3500 calories to burn 1lb of fat which is usually a 3-500 calorie deficit. This is why I think your weight loss is abit too high as theoretically it's not possible...but as your not after fat loss you just want to weigh less then to get those numbers it's about playing with water retention which you can reduce by cutting probes and salt intakes.
The end goal is always health and longevity...good luck on the next step in your journey fab results so far.
You are amazing. Whatever you are doing is working, so keep doing it! Maybe now is the time to increase the intensity of exercise, as your weight loss may slow down a little as you get lighter.
I could get tips from you, rather: I am on day 1. It is difficult when you're hungry, but your body doesn't yet have any changes to show to motivate you.
That's an awful lot in six weeks... 12kg would be a bit more manageable, and is similar to your current weight loss rate- which is fantastic by the way! I would worry you might make yourself ill or put yourself off if you try and be too drastic now. So, apart from keeping up your activity and building the big muscles, like jsports says, I have no tips! You are doing great!
I think, probably just carry on the way you're doing already! You've obviously found a way that works for you. Keep on the way you've started and best wishes!
Hi well done for your weight loss, how have you achieved your weight loss?
