I need some inspiration
I am on week 3 of NHS plan and I have lost 8lbs so far. I don't do a lot of exercise, just walking to/from train & bus stops, but I am gradually increasing that by getting off the bus one stop earlier each week. I aim for 1400cals a day, sometimes I go slightly over. Hope that helps give some inspiration, if I can calorie count so can you! Good luck
I've have to be really honest here and say that I'm on Week 4 and have put on 1kg. I know what I have done wrong food wise and won't make any excuses for it. Lack of exercise, the heat, grabbing the wrong food have contributed to this, so here I am beating myself with a 'stick' once again. No inspiration, really sorry, I do know you really need to have that focus and commitment in your head for any weight loss programme to succeed. Good luck with yours.
Hi Kez- I'm just into week six and have lost a total of 10 pounds. I eat 1500 cals on average and don't really do any formal exercise- (though I mean to start soon!). I put on a pound this week so will try for 1400 cals- it seems to make a difference!
I'm just starting week 11 and have a stone and a half. I aim for 1400 calories a day and often eat fewer. Exercise wise I need to do more, but try to go swimming once a week and salsa dance once a week. I find I have to write down what I eat as I eat it in order to stick to the plan, but also find now that I don't actually want most of the unhealthy food that I always used to eat. Just stick with it and it gets easier!
