Hi Everyone! I joined today so I can get, and help others. Although I need to loose weight, my biggest wish is to continue eating as healthily as possible. I try not to eat any processed foods...YUK ! I eat loads and loads of fruit and veg, but I do have a sweet tooth. I also need to cut down on my portions. I thought this could be a great way to achieve my goal. I have Psoriatic Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia, but I am pretty good at the moment, but it does make walking and exercise difficult. So here I go.................

Welcome Pinky. I joined yesterday and have some helpful chats already. I am trying to eat more sensibly as I want to reduce my wobble. I have been messaging to Tomwest. Have a good food day and only treat yourself to an occasional sweet treat and savvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvour it :)

I'm going to make what may sound a mad suggestion...you could have a look at the NHS Couch to 5k running podcasts which are (despite the name) designed to get you running continuously for 30 minutes.

Before you dismiss this idea, bear in mind that I spend most of my life in bed for health reasons and was trying to assist weight loss with brisk walking but finding it too painful to sustain for long. I still find brisk walking painful - but I graduated from the running programme alright! (Not running faster than a lot of people's brisk walking)

Hi Pinky, Welcome to the site and great to see someone so positive. I joined some time back and started the NHS Losing Weight Programme I only managed about 5 or 6 weeks. I only have about 10lb to lose so I usually follow a diet plan Monday - Friday and allow myself a few extras at the weekend. I eat relatively healthy anyway but do like the odd snack! The problem is I don't have the motivation at the moment ....I split with my boyfriend of 6 years last month and have had a lot to deal with since. Perhaps we could connect on Facebook (if you have it) and spur each other along :)
