I’ve just come across this group that is into weigh loss/weight maintenance.
Congratulations Tank on being a Grandfather!
Just a bit about my journey….. I live in Melbourne, Australia. I’ve been obese (was weighing 89 kg in 2019) on and off through my mid-life and beyond. My weaknesses are lack of exercise and love of food. I retired from full-time work in 2020 to care for my husband, Bruce, who was diagnosed with Stage 1 oesophageal cancer. However, I’ve lose my beloved husband 14 months ago.
Since Feb 2022 I been doing the IF OMAD ie: Intermittent Fasting 18:6 with One Meal a Day and now weigh 76kgs. Unfortunately I still haven’t included any exercise routine, as I’m not really into sweating.
I hope to do some walking when Spring comes around, which will be soon. Looking forward to getting inspired through this to move more and eat healthily.
Have a great week everyone!
Kelly

I'll tag Tank_EG so that he can see your message of congratulations for him.
I'm so sorry to hear about your husband, that must have been very difficult for you, especially after nursing him for years.
You've done well to lose 13kg and I'm sure we'll be able to help you to lose a few more. You've obviously looked around the forum, so have probably seen all the groups you can join, but just in case, here's a link to our pinned posts healthunlocked.com/weight-l... I'd suggest our weekly Weigh-In, Daily Diary and Fit is Fun Club for starters, where you'll find many like-minded people who will offer support and advice. Looking forward to seeing you out and about and 'mingling'.
Hi Hopaling, I’ll have a look at the group you mentioned. Although I’m doing IF 18:6 OMAD, I just anything (try to make healthy choices too) within the eating window. Its easy to lose weight snd I don’t have to stress over food choices. I’m s meat and veggie person (don’t have a sweet tooth, not into sweet drinks); and don’t gave bread, spuds, rice and noodles regularly.
