Weighed in at 15st11lbs!
I've tried this site before but failed due to my own lack of commitment. Is there a site that you can check calorie content as not all foods have this info?

Hi flying start
I use MyFitnessPal. It is a free website for counting calories:
There is also a phone app that synchs your data with the website.
It has been a really useful resource for me. I've been tracking my calories since about mid March and have lost 16kg in that time.
However, a slight warning about using the site. Most of the entries for foods are user generated and not checked for accuracy. The worst seem to be the "home cooked" meals where I have seen some ridiculously low calorie counts (e.g. 200kcal for chilli and rice, which should be more like 500-600kcal for a standard portion!). The individual food items, like chicken or rice seem to be mostly reliable, so I just enter my own recipes using the built in calculator and save them for future use. Takes a bit of time in the beginning but now I have most of my common recipes saved so it only takes a couple of minutes a day to enter in my meals.
Good luck!
I use a wee book called pocket calorie counter by Carolyn Humphries plus info on packets of ingredients.
Good luck
try futureself.com - you can easily work out and add up your calories each day, it has a sliding bar which shows you how near you are to your target, and a graph of your weight loss each week - great site, and free
