You're doing very well and the changes you you want will come, but some bits are more stubborn than others and take longer. Try not to obsess over the bit that's wrong and try to look at all your improvements. It's difficult to change your body shape completely - I'll always be apple shaped no matter how slim or big I am but I can be slim apple as opposed to a baking one. Good luck. I do hope it goes for you in the end. Chay

hey, I agree with the other response. The fact is that 6 weeks is still a relatively short period of time, I normally work with clients on a 90 day plan and even then its just the beginning of a new era.

Your doing great but have a chat with someone about your "diet", fads are not the best option for long term lifestyle changes.

Keep up the great work and seriously have a think about the "diet", it might just be the cause of your depressive thoughts! Blood sugar levels are tricky little things that can go a long way in how you feel.

Hi Natalie!

I'm just at the beginning of my way (in fact so are you, so there's no need to be depressed;)) what I can recommend are Tiffany's Rothe Workouts, e.g. this one called "no more back fat";)

youtube.com/watch?v=_DYF0sL...

I don't know yet if they really work (well, I can feel my muscles working;)) but those workouts make me feel just great and full of endorphins!! try these, you'll burn some callories and will feel sexy!

Good luck!! xxx

This is my first post to this site. Hi, to everyone reading! Just to give a little background of my journey. I'm 54 now and have had a belly bulge for about 30years, ever since I have been given major tranquillisers for a mental health problem, which have a calming effect and make me sleep for long periods and so slow down my metabolism and so I haven't been able to exercise that much over the years. So the decision to be able to lose belly fat is a major one for me. I got a little bit of a kick start when I was told by my practice nurse on 10th July 2013 that I had lost 2.8kg from the previous weighing on 12th June 2013. I decided to read up on it from a book in the library by Jorge Cruise called '8 minutes in the morning for a flat belly'. I have been following the book, religiously, for the past two and half weeks and I have noticed some significant changes to my energy levels, so much so, yesterday I joined a gym and am planning to go there five days a week (Mon-Fri), with a rest on Saturday and Sunday. I have written out a Bill Bartmann Promise Plan and studied the process for achieving any goal in order to see some significant changes to my belly fat in the next 12weeks. I realize now this is a major lifestyle change for me and I'm in it for the long haul. I'm not expecting miracles over night, only over a sustained period. Thank you for reading.
