Diet not going well. I'm still struggling with the exercise, but the counting calories have improved. I'm not giving up, but as usual I feel like a failure, but I'm still not giving up. I WILL GET THERE.

Well done on your positivity WendyKathleen 😊. Remember losing weight is much more about what you eat (or dont eat) than exercise 😊
I notice you haven’t been very active on the forum? This makes such a difference for me, I join in all the challenges, chat on What’s Happening as well as the Daily Diary 😊
Hoping to see more of you
Anna
Keep at it WendyKathleen keep on keeping on. It is a long, slow road but you can make it. Every positive day you are a little closer to your goal and not giving up is a great mentality.
I try, but when I get setbacks, I tell myself, when I have something positive I will say something. I WILL NOT GIVE UP
You can do it WendyKathleen. My journey was littered with setbacks. We are only human and we need to acknowledge that we're not superhuman. Like you say, the main thing we can do is not give up.
Just before I went to bed last night I ate a load of sugar and butter (Doh!!) but today I'll try and work out why and try and plan for that not to happen again.
Good to hear you saying that you are not giving up. What tends to get in the way are the other humans around us that are either skinny or don't want to join our quest for weight loss
That's why its good to come on this forum as much as you can
Firstly well done for sticking with it 👏. You only fail if you do not try and you are trying! You cannot change the past or look into the future, you can only take it one day at a time. Everyday if you achieve 1 positive thing give yourself praise and if something does not go to plan, remind yourself tomorrow is a new day and you will do you best. Good luck ☺
WendyKathleen can I suggest you try the headspace app? It takes 10mins of your day and when you have learnt the basics of meditating it has other areas to help you. I have just finished the 30day depression one and have decided to try the self esteem one next. I managed to find a 30day free trial on face book then signed up for a year at £45 which wouldn't cover one appointment with a therapist. I noticed after 3 weeks my thought process had changed and become much more positive about myself I was on a high after that as I realised I was cracking a very longstanding issue. You shouldn't wait to post until you have something positive to tell us we all want to help you reach your goals so talk to us - big hug
Hi IndigoBlue61 and WendyKathleen The one I use is Headspace Guided Meditation with Andy Puddicombe if you Google him links come up or go the app store and search Headspace Guided Meditation I think there is still a free version to try and see how you get on with it.I have just opened your link @Anna61 and yes that is the one!
I really can't believe how differently I feel since using it Hope you enjoy it too!
