I’ve suffered with PCOS since I was 16 , I’m now 23. I haven’t had a period for over 2 1/2 years and I’m struggling to loose weight and upper lip hair is becoming more of a problem I’m finding harder to control. GP thinks I might have started menopause early because I started having periods at 8. The thought of not probably having children is really getting me down and I’m only 23 does anyone have any tips on weight loss and facial hair removal for effective results ?

Have you tried the keto diet or a dietitian
I went to a dietician and thy were no help whatsoever and any go I’ve previously been to just tries to fob me off on the pill and they all make me really sick but they never listen to me
I’m exactly the same I’ve got another appointment with my endo this afternoon because I was diagnosed in November last year after fighting for a diagnosis for a couple of years. I was just put on Metformin and given no advice but the Metformin has done nothing for me at all. Hoping to get a little further this afternoon but not holding my breath. I have a good diet but continuing to put the weight on and my hair is also starting to get out of control. I’m 26 also and it’s just getting me down so much 😩 Hope you get sorted x
Dear Jackie..I also had 2 to 3 period a year when I was ur age.like you,I feared not being able to have kids but thank God for blessing me with 3 children. All I can say is eat healthy lots of vegetables watch your carb and sugar intake. this can affect insulin and can trigger diabetics for ppl with pcos.Stay positiv, be prayerful and take one day at a time.
