I have PCOS been diagnosed since I was 16 I’m now 23 and every time I ask to be referred to gyno they ask the same questions of how long since your last period and when I say however long ago it was (usually 3-6 months) they ask “are you sure your not pregnant” but if they took two seconds to look at my history you would see that yes I have PCOS and yes my periods are extremely irregular and yes it very painful when it does occur so please believe women’s pain especially black women and just simply do as they ask
