Im a 20 year old with PCOS & barley have periods. Maybe 3 a year if im lucky. If your grossed out, and this could be too much information please dont read on. Well, i noticed yesterday a bit of pink when i wiped i was like snap, om having a period and it wasnt too bad yesterday. I woke up this morning to a whole body & bed covered in blood. It had gone straight through my matress topper onto my matress and was still pretty bloody then. It looked like i got stabbed in the fairy a good 100 times over. What avtually happens when you have a period on pcos? some, or any information would be great!
Am i fertile, have i been releasing eggs? anything!

Hi, I'm not sure if that's normal but women with PCOS can have heavy periods i think it just depends. If you think it's abnornal i would go to the doctor.
Are you on birth control? Periods are unpredictable with PCOS. Are you in any pain with the heavy bleeds?
Oh i understand. So when you got diagnosed your doctor didn't put you on anything to help get your periods regulated? It's okay hun your not alone in this battle😘
Oh heck no!!! 😡 that is not good, somebody weren't doing their job. Girl i would go back and ask to change doctors because the doctor is supposed to help you after being diagnosed. I would go to a endocrinologist if you don't already have one because they deal with hormones and specialize on pcos. Please go back and get the help you need! Getting your periods regulated as best as possible will help you in the long run and helps manage other annoying symptoms with PCOS.
