I was diagnosed with PCOS at 16 at which time I was on the contraceptive pill to help with irregular periods, associated pain, acne etc. However after a year or so of trying different contraceptive pills I refused them as they made my mental health worse and I had other horrible side effects that were actually worse than PCOS or PMS . However, the natural methods I was using to regulate my periods have stopped working. Can anyone give me advice on what treatments or contraceptive pills have worked for them? Many thanks in advance

Hi hope your well,
I can relate to this aswell, as at the beginning of my pcos journey I was also put on contraceptive pills which did help to an extent I would say in regulating my periods. Aw bless you, definitely I can relate as I also did struggle with regards to mental health etc, I had to stop taking them due to other health issues, which was really frustrating as I did not know what to do or what else would work.
May I ask which natural methods you were using?, for me microgynon was the only pill that worked , as it regulated my period but due to another health condition I had to stop this. Also I was using something called ovasitol not sure if you’ve heard of this but this has worked for a lot of people!! really good reviews etc and it helped me so much in the past overall with so much such as periods, hormonal imbalances, reducing inflammation. Due to other health conditions I had to stop this, but it did begin to work for me when I began using it which was for a very short time but it is worth reading about and seeing if your interested in this.
Hope this helps x
