PCOS - Coming off the pill and regaining regular cycle!

I thought I'd share my experience with PCOS and coming off the pill and what I've done to get a regular cycle back.

I came off the pill January 2019, after being on it for around 10 years. I had already been predicting my periods with a tracker on my phone, and for that month and about 2/3 months afterwards my periods were regular (for me anyway, I'm around 5 weeks apart rather than 4). Then they suddenly stopped. I didn't want to go back onto the pill so researched ways in which to bring them back naturally. Apart from a good diet and regular exercise, it was suggested vitamins etc.

I started taking Inositol Powder, once a day in the morning in my water, and my periods have been regular ever since (about 5 months now). I know this isn't a miracle cure or anything and there's always a chance my periods could stop again, but hopefully this helps someone who isn't sure where to start!

Hi, just wondered if this is still working for you? Interested in trying it!

Hi!

I do believe it is still working for me.

I've recently had a few months where my period was a bit out of sync, and I wasn't taking the Inositol regularly but also I have been under a great deal of stress and my diet/lifestyle has been a bit out of whack! So I can't pin point if it was down to not taking the powder or other factors.

Regardless, since first starting to take Inositol I always seem to have a natural period (my regular cycle is 5 weeks apart).

I hope that helps!
