Bleeding for 3 months with PCOS

Hi all, has anyone else had the same as me? I was diagnosed with PCOS 5 years ago, in the time I’ve had a few months of regular monthly periods then 4 months without one, I last had a period in September 2018 then in January 2019 I started light bleeding, I’ve had this now for 3 months, it’s very light but needs a tampon, it’s now got a little heavier, I’m so worried as PCOS always caused me to have irregular periods never the opposite, just wondered if anyone experienced the same ?
