Can anybody help? I took pregnancy tests just before Christmas and they came up negative. My periods are irregular anyway but they had just become kind of regular around the time I had unprotected sex. I had quite a few symptoms of pregnancy but the tests had led me to believe I’m not pregnant.
Fast forward to now and the symptoms have mostly disappeared. I have mild cramping now and again and as of Friday I’ve had a feeling in my stomach (lower right side) like there’s something there (like I’m squashing something when sitting down). Also about 3 weeks or so ago I thought my period had come, putting an end to pregnancy thoughts, but there was only blood when I wiped once, absolutely nothing for the rest of the day and still nothing now. I’m going to make a docs appointment tomorrow but just wondering if anybody is familiar with any of the above?

I would definitely book a doctor's appointment. I have read a fair bit on forums about PCOS ladies getting false negative results. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong though, only a Newbie! I always think better to be safe than sorry.
Hi thanks for the reply, I’ve read that too but don’t want to get my hopes up either, it would be nice if I was though. I have an appointment today so I’ll see what happens, it’s just crazy not knowing what’s going on!
So the doctor today wasn’t all that helpful, I took another test there and it was negative. But she literally looked at it for 10 seconds said negative and chucked it in the bin. She completely disregarded the fact I’ve been having pains and just told me to relax and my period will come. Yeah because relaxing is as easy as clicking your fingers! So still not 100% as to what’s going on
Seems to be quite common, even with female GPs Mine isn't convinced I even have polycystic ovaries, as apparently the records don't go back as far as my diagnosis!! Sorry it wasn't the news you had hoped for. x
