After going back and to to the gynecologist for over a year now the plan they have in mind is to catarise my womb which could potentially stop the heavy flow. However if this doesn't work she's on about a hysterectomy I'm 31, there was no mention of my over night stays in hospital as it was not in my medical file I explained that that's how come I had the scan, no mention of the dermoid cyst attached to the wall on my opposite ovary and previously she suggested endometriosis on the side I had a previous dermoid cyst removed but now I feel the hysterectomy is her way of fixing that are there alternate treatments? I'm on pop pill, the strongest cocodamol on prescription and nerve blockers this has drastically affected my mental and physical health I lost 4 and a half stone then put it all back on due to pain related to this and a fibroid which has now gone. Does anyone know if going private is very expensive? Any advice on this would be welcome I really don't want to have a hysterectomy πŸ˜” please help

Does a hysterectomy resolves endo issues though ??? It will not resolve pcos issues. Have you been on the endo area to ask the ladies there?

Hi thanks for reply I also have back pain but not sure if pain is coming from pcos or sciatica or pcos or similar causing other. She was on about taking everything ovaries included which means I'd be on pills for life which I really don't want that and a potential early menopause to boot. I think I will pop it up there as well the gyney just suggested I might have it due to scar tissue from previous removal of cyst but I've not had any tests bar ultrasound which I know doesn't really show went in to hospital with pain they thought I had kidney stones sigh feel like I'm banging head against brick wall or that they think I'm making it up πŸ˜”
