Hi, I'm 18 and have only recently found out I have PCOS. I had no pre-existing symptoms so the diagnosis was a shock.

I feel as though I haven't been given enough information and was wondering if anyone had any tips or things that I should expect with this condition?

No we are all very different, what one lady may have, another wont - the only thing I would recommend is to keep your weight in the normal level so stick to a low GI type diet.

Join Verity as you get a load of booklets on different aspects of the condition as its only £15 for a yearly membership. Also next time they have a conference try and go (usually each year) as you learn so much about it, as I say tho, we are all so different and some ladies have no symptoms at all.

Family wise (when you are ready), it is extremely rare not to conceive just due to pcos so dont worry about that.
