Pregnant with pcos

I'm 18wks+4days pregnant and i have pcos. A couple of days I've had a sharp twinge VERY low either on right or left side(usually where my ovaries are) but mostly on the right on and off. Sometimes its where the pubic area is too. It kind of feels like when you've held a wee for a long time and you get that pain but I don't need to go/ or i go when I feel it incase but it's no different. . It's very intermittent and I can't pick a pattern or posotion, it just happens.I called 111 at the weekend as I had the pain for over 5 mins and then went back to intermittent and a gp spoke to me on Sat said wasn't really concerned. Im able to do normal activities and everything else seems fine. I can feel flutters still. I didn't want to ring midwife hospital as they usually only ask to come in if severe or bleeding, thought I'd ask if any one else has had this? Could it be pressure on ovary or maybe cysts i have on them? I don't know what is common with a pcos pregnancy. Tyia

Hi! I have PCOS as well, had a baby and currently pregnant too. Sometimes twinges in the ovaries happen for no particular reason. Uterus is expanding and forcing all other organs to move places and twinges might happen (I had it very frequently for about a week and then it settled). If it becomes sharp pain that doesn't settle call the hospital. If you feel any pain that your gut feeling says it's not normal (even if it's not severe), you should call the hospital midwives. They prefer to have 100s calls that are nothing than miss something. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy! Feel free to DM if you have more questions :)
