I posted not too long ago about how I have been having constant pain in my right ovary, and in the process of undergoing investigation with the doctors. I have PCOS, and haven't had a period in a year. But recently, the pain has been even worse and I noticed these past two days I have had brown discharge, but no period? Does anybody have any idea what is going on?
Thanks x

You must force a bleed if you haven't had a period, it shouldn't just be left so I would go back to your GP and ask for provera to force a bleed, even if you are being referred as it can cause no end of issues having no periods so your GP should give you something to force a bleed to shed the lining as it is not good for it to get too thick.
It could be that your period is on the way which is what is causing the brown discharge (I get it at the beginning and end of my periods).
I would also ask to be checked out for endometriosis as well.
Thank you for your response I really appreciate it! I did wonder if that was the case but it's day 3 and has been no sign of anything still, really strange😔 I am due to have a scan on Friday, will they see endometriosis through this do you know? X
No endo can only be seen via a laparoscopy sadly so isnt easy to diagnose, there is a link between endo and pcos and isnt uncommon to have both apparently. Pain is generally a symptom of endo rather than pcos.
