Problems downloading the Spring Newsletter?

I've looked on the Adobe site and I've spoken to the web designer. The web man has confirmed there isn't anything wrong with the server or the PDF.

Here are two things which he (and Adobe) suggest:

Problem with the PDF?

Refresh or reload the page

Often, just refreshing the page allows the PDF to fully load.

• Hold down the Shift key and press the Refresh or Reload button in the browser. (I use F5 or shift F5).

or

Go to the Newsletter page of the website vasculitis.org.uk/about/new...

and RIGHT click on the blue link for the Spring 2013 Newsletter, and then save the file. Then you should be able to view it in Adobe Reader rather than on your browser.

Perhaps you could send me an e-mail to say whether either of these have worked for you: pat@vasculitis.org.uk Many thanks.

Ok, I did have an Adobe update to install so tried that. Made no difference. Shift & F5 made no difference either.

However saving the link as an Adobe file has allowed me to open it in Adobe reader. So maybe thats the way to go for others with problems

Ah bless you. I was beginning to think I'd gone bonkers. Maybe I will put that where I have the details about having the latest version of Adobe. In fact, I will go and do it straight away.

Saving the link worked for me too.

Thanks Pat

Well, I'll go to the foot of our stairs (as the saying goes). So pleased that something is working.

Many thanks for letting me know. It would really be nice to know why the gremlins play up for some, but it seems there's more than one way of skinning a cat (as another saying goes).

Thanks Andrew. No, I didn't do anything. I'm as amazed as you.
