Hello tamidi, I have Churg Strauss Vasculitis and I have been off all drugs since 2007, including Prednisone. I was on 100 mg in the hospital and down to 80 mg when I came home after being in the hospital for one month and a half. I tapered of the Prednisone in November 2007 and quit everything else and I am doing well. I had pnuemonia and did a Prednisone burst in 2009, and I have a rescue inhaler for asthma, but no other drugs since

Hi, I have been told I will be on pred for at least 2 years at a maintenance dose if I don't have a flare. If I flare then they will increase and taper back down.

My doughter is for one year on Prednisone .She is on calcort 30mg.I just want to know is anyone in good condision without drugs.
