VUK at the BSR conference

Susan , Charlotte , Laura (our grant co-ordinator) and I manned the VUK stand at the British Society of Rheumatology's annual conference.It was busy, but at a good pace so it wasn't overwhelming. It was nice to see our "usuals" and get updates of what they are doing, but it was amazing to meet new people from the medical community with a special interest in vasculitis.

The first picture is taken from one of the vasculitis presentations, just having clinicians acknowledging that this is happening is a step forward.

For me, the attendance of specialist rheumatology nurses and the whispers of potential training for vasculitis specialist nurses was one of the highlights of this conference.

No, we had to use them while we set up the stand, but you have actually given me a good idea!
