Sorry to hear of your problems, sorry I can't diagnose what your rash is. I can have a number of different spots and symptoms depending on where on the body and even the time of year. I have Vasculitis and suspected Sjogren's so now have to have another biopsy this time from the lip.

I saw by your link that you are in the R.O.I., I lived and worked there for a lot of years and know from personal experience what the health system is if you can't afford private health insurance.

I really hope you find the answers and diagnosis you need. Even here at times it feels like you are going round in circles but it is a difficult thing to get a diagnosis for.

Remember GPs are exactly what the initials are, general practitioner's and more than likely never have seen someone with an autoimmune condition let alone studied any of the diseases.

Hi. I read your other post. Poor you. I know nothing about Ireland's system however, it would be worth you phoning the vasculitis uk helpline as they will know who your vasculitis specialists there are. It's a rare condition so the specialists are few and far between but I'm pretty sure I've seen on the vasculitis Facebook page that there are ones in Ireland. The number is 0300 365 0075 and the people manning them also have vasculitis so they understand, are hugely knowledgable and will guide you in the right direction. Good luck.

I am currently in hospital recovering from lung removal op.

During investingation in may to multiple aches across front and back of lungs.

i was sent for CT scan as bloods and xrays showed nothing.

The CT scan showed a 16mm nodule deep within my lung. PET scan showed no activity(good) But the Nodule was too far in to do Byopsy. so only way to be sure is to remove and byopsy. This required removing half a lung to get to nodule.

I will get results in two weeks.

Intresting thing is... They tried for nearly a hour to put in a Epidural.

They could put this in as i had so many Ostephytes going down my spine.

This im thinking may be the cause of multiple aches and pains.

And maybe indication of Osteoarthritus. we shall see.
