Tomorrow is Wear Rainbow Day

As part of raising awareness for #vasculitis awareness month. Vasculitis UK have been asked to share May 16th 2014 with Rosie's Rainbow Fund. rosiesrainbowfund.co.uk/201...

Rosie’s Rainbow Fund supports sick and disabled children in hospital, school and in the community.

Rosie’s Rainbow Fund runs music therapy sessions at the John Radcliffe Children’s Hospital Oxford, the Royal Berks Hospital in Reading and Stoke Mandeville Hospital.

They also offer bereavement support for families after the loss of a child. In the John Radcliffe Children’s Hospital, they have an aromatherapist working three days a week, treating the extremely stressed parents of long stay and terminally ill children.

Rosie was 11 years old when she lost her life to complications from #vasculitis, During her treatment Rosie expressed a wish to raise money for the new children’s hospital at Oxford, and to help other children undergoing lengthy hospital stays.

At Sainsbury's in Taplow from 4.15pm tomorrow to hear our wonderful Rosie's Rainbow Choir, the talented children from Redroofs Theatre School, Maidenhead singing their hearts out. Huge thanks to the staff at the school and not to mention the parents for ferrying them around!

The children at Redroofs will also be wearing Rainbow for the day and participating in all sorts of Rainbow activities!

Dear Suzyme2u,

This is typical/just my luck! I've only just found your 'post'- now twenty past eight PM on the sixteenth. So apart from wishing you all the best of luck and sincerely hoping all went well, there isn't much else that I can do, Sorry!!!

In my defines it is true to say that I have, to a large extent, been quite busy- one way or another but still......

Sorry once again, very best wishes AndrewXX

I was fortunate to purchase a rainbow butterfly pin badge in support of the fund in Wilko's.
